Vintage Horizon

Vintage Horizon

f/22, 8", ISO-100, 50mm

Not sure what my goal here was other than to play some more with closed apertures/long shutter speed settings. The night wasn’t quite still enough for me to really pull off an 8 second exposure, but it didn’t turn out too bad. To compensate for some fuzziness here and there, I adjusted the color and grain to give the photograph a vintage look to it to help mask some of the imperfections of the sharpness of the image. The composition is close, but I needed to move the tripod maybe 20 feet to my left I think to get a good frame for the picture. Still, I think it’s an interesting color study.

That is an awesome compliment! Thank you so much. I kind of like the green tint on this that adds a certain mood I’ve not played with much before.
