Movie Poster Nonsense

So I was looking at a poster for a recently-released movie today (which shall remain nameless to avoid this post showing up in a search by movie studios) and I just had to shake my head at how non-nonsensical this is. I mean seriously:

How do you look at this poster and not get dizzy trying to figure out what the hell the picture is supposed to be about? We have one guy aiming a gun at nothing at best, or a wall at worst. Another guy looking smugly at something that is not what the other guy is shooting at. A shadow of a figure coming from someplace in a different direction yet, with the whole scene backlit from a light source that completely invalidates the direction the shadows in scene are pointing, not to mention the mysteriously front-lit faces.

How do you even imagine such a horribly wrong picture?

I love this! I do the same thing. I watch tv or movies and just go. The sun is not right for that to happen. Or they are not there. Look at the bright light behind them, and they are all shaded. Fun! 🙂 Great post!
