Don’t Cross The Ropes

Don't Cross The Ropes

f/1.8, 1/60, ISO-800, 50mm

Another entry in my photos essay of the Palace Theatre. One of the charms of this theatre is that it has balcony seating, which people are always anxious to take advantage of. One of the challenges of balcony seating, though, is that it’s fairly easy to cross right in front of the projector and cast a shadow right in the middle of a great movie being enjoyed by 150 other patrons.

So this rather interesting rope and sign has been strung across way to remind patrons that there are consequences to putting yourself in the path of light. đŸ™‚

Love your photos. You have a knack for photographing an ordinary item and making it a great photo- very artistic. -Kim

Thank you so much! Sometimes I feel like the everyday things are all I have time to shoot, so I better make the most of them đŸ™‚
