Morning Lake

Morning Lake

f/6.3, 1/400, ISO-200, 18mm

This is a similar theme to one of my earliest photographs once I got back into the art again almost two years ago. This one took far less post-processing to achieve the desired effect though. Aside for a bit of a vignette and some nudge contrast, this is pretty much how it came out of the camera. The same could not be said of my earlier effort, in which the sky was completely computer-generated. This was taken in the same wildlife area as the original, but at a completely different location within that area. It was also taken with a real DSLR instead of a point and shoot. I was proud of the original effort, but it’s interesting to see how far I’ve come. It’s good to go back to your roots.
