Glamour

Glamour

f/5.6, 1/200, ISO-200, 35mm

I was trying to achieve a couple of different things here. I wanted to draw together all the reds a little more than they were naturally (dress, lips, hair and brick), which I achieved with a sunlight filter and then by reducing the luminance of the red. Second, I wanted to give a sort of old-school 1940s glamour to the portrait by blurring the area around her face and muting the color scheme in general.
